The finance team at CBL is expected see much beyond the numbers, understand the business and be able to run a sanity check on plans and strategies of the company. Finance department, in addition to the normal recording and reporting functions, is also responsible for financial controls. Business awareness is a prerequisite. Finance Department in CBL sits at the nerve centre of all the operations in the company and its functions are customer driven. It ensures that all its internal customers (i.e. departments) are provided with the support, know how and financial services essential for decision making, leading to eventual growth of the company.
