Agha Jamshed
Director Finance
Born in 1951, Agha Jamshed obtained his initial education in Karachi. After obtaining Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Karachi University he proceeded to the United Kingdom where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. In 1980 he also obtained the membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
In 1979 he joined KPMG in Saudi Arabia, a newly established firm of accountants. He returned to Pakistan in 1987, joining a listed company in the textile sector as Finance Manager and Company Secretary. He joined Unilever Pakistan Limited in 1992, initially as Management Accountant, moving on to become the Commercial Manager and the Corporate Controller. When Unilever acquired Bestfoods worldwide, Unilever Pakistan extended its co-operation to Bestfood's subsidiary in Pakistan called Rafhan Bestfoods. Agha Jamshed was the first person to be seconded to Bestfoods. He served on the Board of Directors as the Finance Director. Agha Jamshed joined Continental Biscuits as the Finance Director in 2005. He is currently heading the Finance function at CBL.
